Vinified in 2 and 3 year old oak barrels, the palate is full, firm and layered. Rich, but not heavy, there is a lovely acidic structure around which the rest of the wine sits. There is apple, pear and fresh peach fruit, with hints of butter, salted caramel and black pepper.
