By Burgundy standards, Arnaud Baillot is considered a newcomer having made his first vintage in 2014. Located in Levernois, a small village on the South-East of some of Beaune’s best vineyards, Arnaud is producing wines of incredible tension and precision. His style is energetic and respectful to vineyard expression whilst offering incredible value from an up-and-coming star.
This generous expression highlights the intensity of the wines produced in Chassagne-Montrachet. Whilst the wine has lifted aromatics and elegant acidity, fruit flavours, candied lemon and toasted hazelnuts are the fundamental calling cards of this wine. A long, luscious wine that is elevated with ginger spice and elderflower.
